What merchandise is available?+
Two official items: the Lighthouse volunteer T-shirt (Small through XXL) and the Lighthouse volunteer hat. Both are unisex and designed for men and women. You can buy the shirt only, the hat only, or both.
How do I choose a T-shirt size?+
Sizes run Small, Medium, Large, XL and XXL in a unisex fit. Choose your usual T-shirt size — if you're between sizes or prefer a relaxed fit, size up.
Do I have to volunteer to buy the gear?+
No. Anyone can wear the gear and support the mission. That said, if you're wearing it on race day we'd love to have you on the volunteer team too.
How does delivery work?+
Delivery is $6.95 flat and free on orders over $75. At checkout you'll enter your delivery address and any instructions for the courier. An event pickup option will be added closer to race day.
Where does the money go?+
Proceeds support Lighthouse Scholarship Foundation scholarships — funding that removes financial barriers for students pursuing their education.
What do volunteers actually do?+
Setup and teardown, registration and check-in, water stations and hospitality, shoreline support, photography and the merchandise table. No experience needed — you'll be briefed before your shift.
Can I volunteer as a group?+
Yes. Families, student groups, workplaces and teams are all welcome. Add the details in the comments field on the volunteer form and we'll organise your group together.
